We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Workers' Compensation team in our Stuart, Boca Raton, or Plantation office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from experienced attorneys, and build a long-term career with a growing law firm.

What You'll Do

Client Representation

  • Assist in representing injured workers throughout the workers' compensation claims process.
  • Meet with clients to discuss their cases and provide updates and guidance.
  • Build trusting relationships through responsive communication and compassionate client service.
  • Help clients understand their rights and the legal process.

Case Management

  • Manage an assigned caseload with guidance and mentorship from senior attorneys.
  • Review medical records, employment records, and other case-related documents.
  • Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files while meeting deadlines.

Litigation & Negotiation

  • Attend mediations, hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Assist with case preparation and litigation strategy.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations under the guidance of experienced attorneys.
  • Develop courtroom confidence and advocacy skills through hands-on experience.

Professional Development

  • Learn Florida Workers' Compensation law through mentorship and practical experience.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to deliver outstanding client service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Continuously build legal knowledge, litigation skills, and client management abilities.

What We're Looking For

Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

License: Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing or awaiting Florida Bar admission with an expected admission date.

Experience: Attorneys with 0-2 years of experience are encouraged to apply

Strong Communicator: Able to build rapport with clients, communicate professionally, and work effectively with colleagues.

Organized: Manages multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Eager to Learn: Demonstrates initiative, accepts feedback, and is committed to professional growth.

Technology Proficient: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and willing to learn Litify and other legal case management systems.

Team-Oriented: Enjoys collaborating with others and contributing to a positive, respectful workplace culture.
