Hair Stylist Requirements
- Provide Community with proof of current Workers’ Compensation Insurance coverage unless Beautician has no employees and is personally exempt from such insurance coverage requirements
- Maintain current beautician’s professional and premises liability insurance and provide Community with evidence of such coverage
- Maintain the Beauty Salon in a clean and safe condition at all times
- Order and pay for all necessary supplies in the operation of the Beauty Salon, unless otherwise arranged through the Community Executive Director
- Provide Community with a schedule of rates, Community must approve prior to use
- Operate the beauty Salon on a regularly scheduled basis, and in a manner acceptable to the Community Executive Director and the residents, acknowledging the Beauty Salon is operated primarily for the convenience of and availability to the residents of Community
- Pay to the Community rent in the amount of $400 per month for the use of Salon, due and payable by the 5th of each month
- Act at all times in a manner that is supportive of the Community and its management
- Maintain a current shop or salon license and a current beautician’s license
- Must have valid state cosmetology or barbers license
- Should have experience working with geriatric customers, including memory care residents
