We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our Culinary Department at Silver Creek Inn memory care!
Full-time opportunity!
Earn between $19 and $21/hour, dependent on experience!
Multiple Shifts! 8 hour shifts, 6:30AM - 6:30PM including weekends.

Who you are:
You enjoy providing outstanding service and producing high quality nutrition. The Cook’s role is preparing and serving attractive and tasty meals for the community.
What you'll do:
- Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional, appetizing fashion, and presented in an attractive manner per the menu and schedule
- Properly store, date, and rotate food per food handling guidelines
- Keep the environment safe and clean
- Follow kitchen cleaning schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- (delete this bullet if not in TX / IL / AZ ) Candidates applying must have completed an approved Dietary Manager's Course or possess a ServSafe Food Handler's certificate. (Candidates without Servsafe will be considered but must receive the certificate within the first 30 days of employment)
- All requirements related to the food handlers’ certificate per state requirements
- Knowledge of food preparation, production and plate presentation
- Must be drug-free and submit to a drug screening upon hire and routinely
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
- Knowledge of special dietary needs
