Job Overview
We are seeking an Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assembling complex machinery, including working with housings, gears, bearings and seals, as well as the ability to read mechanical drawings. This position plays a key role in building high-quality equipment.
Duties
- Assemble mechanical gearboxes, machinery and systems from blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Assemble, repair and test gearboxes.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and fluid power issues during assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, cranes, hoists, and measuring devices.
- Report any defects or issues with materials or equipment to supervisors promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in an assembly role or related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are necessary for precise assembly tasks.
- A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the assembly process.
Preferred Attributes:
Forklift or overhead crane operation certification experience a plus.
Mechanically inclined
Willing to learn and train
Must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs.
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical intuition.
Tools will be provided.
Must have reliable transportation.
