Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients through slicing, dicing, and portioning to ensure efficient kitchen operations
• Cook menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety standards
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination
• Adhere to safety standards in production, including knife skills and proper equipment use

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
• Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and meal preparation methods
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food industry standards, and safety protocols
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
