QA/QC Coordinator - Mechanical Construction

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Coordinator - Mechanical Construction to support our construction team. This role is critical in ensuring projects meet regulatory standards, client expectations, and internal quality benchmarks from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and ensure compliance with client requirements
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities
• Manage QA/QC documentation and reporting processes
• Serve as the primary contact for all quality-related communications
• Conduct audits and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Train project teams on QA/QC standards and best practices
• Develop and implement quality assurance plans and strategies

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in commercial mechanical or plumbing construction (healthcare, med gas, education, institutional, or military projects preferred)
• Experience with Testing, Balancing, and Commissioning (TAB) teams
• Proven leadership experience managing direct reports
• Experience on large-scale projects ($25M preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with a professional, team-oriented mindset
