Position Summary:
The Claims Manager is responsible for the oversight of all claim processing. This includes Property, General Liability, Auto and Workers’ Compensation claims. This position serves as the primary point of contact between the company and our customers, and provides guidance and support to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient claim processing. The successful candidate leads the team in resolving claims, establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the claims department
- Ensure all claims are reviewed, processed, and settled in a timely manner
- Develop, implement, and enforce claim policies and procedures
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, vendors, and other
stakeholders
- Monitor and evaluate claims activity to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws
and regulations
- Resolve complex claims issues and disputes
- Train and mentor claim staff as needed
- Provide periodic reports and analytics to senior management
- Ability to work independently
- Create a rapport with field Safety Managers and HR staff
- Additional job duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 5 years of experience in claims management preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of insurance regulations and industry best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Location: This position is primarily on-site at our headquarters located at: 188 Inverness Dr. W, Englewood CO, 80112
- Regular in-person attendance is required Monday through Thursday
- Friday is an optional remote workday
Physical Requirements:
- Travel Requirements: 20% travel by car and/or plane
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to move between departments within the company facility
