Job Description
Kodiak Security Services LLC is seeking reliable and professional Armed/Unarmed Security Guards to support a variety of client vendors throughout the Louisville, Kentucky area. Assignments vary by client and may include on-call, temporary.
We have consistent work available, and once onboarded, candidates may be offered assignments immediately as opportunities arise.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas, both on foot and/or by vehicle
- Control access points and verify credentials as required
- Observe, report, and document suspicious activity or incidents
- Respond professionally to emergencies and follow established procedures
- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site-specific rules
- Complete incident reports and daily activity logs as required
Qualifications & Expectations
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
- Ability to follow post orders and client-specific requirements
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
- Armed positions require valid licensing and applicable certifications
- Must maintain all required security qualifications and licensing as mandated by applicable local, state, or federal agencies
- Prior security experience preferred but not required for all assignments
Uniform Requirements
Uniform policies vary by client assignment and may include:
- Client-provided uniforms
- Khakis with a black shirt
- All-black attire
- Shirt or polo labeled “SECURITY”
Specific uniform details will be provided with each assignment.
Additional Information
- Final assignment details, schedules, and pay rates are provided after onboarding is completed
- Candidates will receive assignment offers and may accept or decline based on availability
- Being active in our system allows for immediate placement when work becomes available
