Job Overview
Kodiak Field Services is seeking dedicated and skilled Water Transfer Field Operators to join our team. This role is crucial in managing the safe and efficient transfer of water for various operations, particularly in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and pipeline management, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
Duties
- Operate and maintain water transfer equipment, including pumps, layflat hose, and fluid storage vessels.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to setup and operate temporary transfer lines for water transfer operations.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor water levels and flow rates during transfer processes to ensure efficiency.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.
Experience
- Previous employment in the oil and gas industry or in similar environments is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
