Senior Commercial Plumbing Estimator
Location: Matthews NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per annum (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and cost
- Prepare detailed estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Develop and submit competitive bid packages within required timelines
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing
- Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers as needed
- Track and manage costs throughout the estimating process
- Ensure appropriate profit margins are included in all bids
- Maintain organized project documentation and bid history
- Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and cost efficiency
- 5 years of commercial plumbing estimating experience (required)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of construction costs, materials, and workflows
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools
- Solid math and analytical skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of job site safety standards and construction practices
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Primarily office-based with occasional job site visits
- Standard business hours with project-based deadlines
- Exposure to active construction environments during site visits
- Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the day
- Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to navigate job sites (stairs, uneven terrain, etc.)
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
- Team player with strong problem-solving skills
- Motivated to contribute to company growth and profitability
