Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Location: Glen Burnie, MD or Gaithersburg, MD

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $40–$50/hour Overtime Opportunities

The Opportunity

We’re seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to support customers throughout the Glen Burnie and Gaithersburg, MD areas.

This role is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys troubleshooting complex HVAC systems, working independently in the field, and delivering high-quality service to commercial customers. You’ll work with a variety of equipment while joining an established team that prioritizes safety, technical excellence, and long-term career development.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot, service, maintain, and repair medium- to large-scale commercial HVAC systems.
• Work with equipment including:
• Rooftop units (RTUs)
• Heat pumps
• Split systems
• Air handlers
• HVAC controls and related components
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical system issues using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble HVAC components as needed.
• Perform service work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Communicate service findings, repair needs, and recommendations clearly with customers and supervisors.
• Maintain accurate service documentation.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable OSHA requirements.
  

What We’re Looking For

• Commercial HVAC service experience required
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC equipment and controls
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively
• Familiarity with OSHA and jobsite safety standards
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman license
• EPA Universal Certification
• Experience servicing medium- to large-scale commercial HVAC equipment
