️ Position Overview
We’re looking for a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team servicing commercial and industrial clients in the Kalamazoo area. This role is perfect for a self-driven technician who thrives in the field, values quality workmanship, and delivers excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, service, and repairs on HVAC systems including RTUs, split systems, chillers, boilers, and more
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency and longevity
- Use mechanical and electrical diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
- Accurately document service activity using a handheld device
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and manage tools and materials effectively
- Communicate professionally with clients and coworkers while on site
- 4 years of hands-on commercial HVAC service experience
- EPA Universal Certification (Required)
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain professionalism and provide top-tier customer service
- Experience with chillers, boilers, or hydronic systems (Preferred)
- OSHA 10 Certification (We’ll provide if not currently certified)
- Must pass background check, drug screen, physical ability test, and MVR check
- Valid driver’s license required
- Field-based role with local territory assignments
