We’re hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician to support commercial and industrial customers throughout the La Grange Park, Illinois area.

What You’ll Do

As an HVAC Service Technician, you’ll install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Service and repair packaged rooftop units (RTUs), VAV systems, and refrigeration controls.
• Troubleshoot, install, and repair HVAC and refrigeration control systems.
• Fabricate and install sheet metal and ductwork.
• Install piping systems, including water, compressed air, refrigeration, and gas piping.
• Perform brazing and soldering of refrigeration and air conditioning piping.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and installation drawings.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical system issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate clearly with customers and project teams.
• Follow OSHA requirements, company safety procedures, and industry best practices.
• Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and vehicle inventory.
  
  

What You Bring

We’re looking for an experienced technician with strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and a solid background in commercial or industrial HVAC-R.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of HVAC and refrigeration experience as a Journeyman or Service Technician.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience servicing RTUs, VAV systems, refrigeration controls, and industrial piping systems.
• Experience with brazing, soldering, refrigeration piping, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• NCCER HVAC & Refrigeration Certification.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in HVAC & Refrigeration Technology.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Schedule & Work Environment

This position supports commercial and industrial customer facilities throughout the region. Overtime may be required based on customer needs and project schedules.
