A well-established mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced HVAC Pipe Installer to support new commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with pipefitting and mechanical system installations, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install a variety of piping systems including hydronics, refrigerant lines, gas piping, and condensate drains.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine proper pipe layouts and installation specifications.
- Cut, thread, groove, press, solder, and braze pipes
- Test systems for leaks using pressure gauges or related equipment
- Inspect and troubleshoot pipe installations as needed
- Collaborate with other trades and supervisors on active job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pipefitting or mechanical HVAC installation
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and HVAC principles
- Proficiency with threading, soldering, brazing, and other pipefitting techniques
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Reliable transportation and a commitment to safety
