Description:

Control monitoring: looking for failures in IAM tasks (such as access not being removed)

Communicate with other teams (highest is director level)

Coordination of process

Java is primary, Python, Oracle and SQL (basic level, running scripts)

Role Info:

IAM functions:

Make sure IAM functions keep running on day to day basis, come in look at a queue for any alerts based on those monitors , look at overnight failed tasks , termination monitoring , application connection error, initial investigation required,

Opening tickets, making sure the errors are resolved on control monitoring

Coordination with different application teams work with direct LOBs to triage and figure out what is needed

Process focused role

Domain knowledge of IAM is key

Programming language is not important – deepest part of the code will be error messages, so basic technical language is needed, don’t need to be a developer

SailPoint is nice to have, not as important as IAM

Soft Skills: Running meetings, providing contexts to business team, so verbal and written comm is important.
