Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer with 7 years of experience in end-user support and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Intune, IT asset management, ServiceNow ticketing, desktop support, printer troubleshooting, and basic networking. The candidate should be capable of handling daily IT support operations while ensuring high service quality and SLA adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 desktop and laptop support for end users.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and application-related issues.
- Manage devices using Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, configuration, policy deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Handle IT Asset Management, including asset allocation, tracking, inventory management, and lifecycle management.
- Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow while ensuring SLA compliance.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local and network printers.
- Resolve daily ticket-based issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and user access.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting, including LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and switch port connectivity.
- Support infrastructure activities such as Rack & Stack, structured cabling, patching, access point installation, and basic switch troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with network, server, and vendor teams for issue resolution when required.
- Maintain accurate documentation for incidents, assets, and support activities.
Required Skills
- 7 years of experience in Desktop Support or End User Computing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing tools.
- Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting desktops, laptops, local printers, and network printers.
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Active Directory basics.
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switch connectivity, and patching.
- Hands-on experience with Rack & Stack, patch panel connectivity, and wireless access points.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and end-user support skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Microsoft 365 Administration.
- ITIL Foundation certification is an added advantage
