Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Ruby on Rails applications for the healthcare industry
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver user-friendly and effective solutions
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews, testing, and best practices
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks in existing applications
• Mentor and support junior developers, sharing knowledge and promoting team growth
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to foster innovation within the team
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  
  

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States of America and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with verified U.S. government issued ID.
• Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience with frontend technologies such as Hotwire, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with third-party services
• Knowledge of database systems, particularly PostgreSQL
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance and scalability
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
