Experience with Unanet Enterprise Reporting Program (ERP).

The Program Control Lead will manage the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of project financial data; mentor and guide program control analysts; and-most importantly-develop, implement, and optimize scalable processes and tools that support the efficient management of a large number of contracts. This individual will partner closely with KODA leadership, business unit leads, program managers, contracts, accounting, human resources, and operations to ensure seamless financial and contractual oversight across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks, and tracking mechanisms to support a high volume of contracts/projects.
  • Incorporate contract awards, modifications, and funding actions into KODA's Unanet system with quality and timeliness.
  • Coordinate with program manager or business unit lead on budgets and assignment of budgets to team members, ensuring compliance with contractual and internal limitations.
  • Partner with leadership to produce accurate and actionable program financial insights, including variance analysis, burn rates, and forecasting.
  • Assess current operational gaps and introduce tool-based or process-based solutions (automation, templates, macros, dashboards, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Program Managers and the Operations team during weekly Operations Meetings; ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform data quality assurance across all program control outputs.
  • Train new team members on timekeeping and expense management when necessary.
  • Support audit readiness and compliance with DCAA/government contracting requirements.
  • Support additional program control duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires 8-10 years of experience in program controls, project accounting, or financial management in a government contractor environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of government contracts and contract execution requirements.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory, team lead, or process ownership role.
  • Advanced knowledge of small government contractor business practices, including timekeeping, expense reporting, and contractual financial requirements.
  • Proficiency with Unanet (or similar ERP/project accounting systems), including planning, budgeting, project setup, assignments, and financial reporting.
  • Strong ability to design and document processes, develop tools, and implement operational improvements.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and recommend action.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and consistency.
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, data cleaning, pivot tables; macros preferred), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, and manage competing priorities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is required.
  • Exceptional references are required.
