Key Responsibilities
Conduct security patrols on foot or by vehicle in assigned areas
Identify and respond to safety hazards or unusual conditions
Activate alarms or notify emergency services as needed
Enforce rules and regulations (e.g., no loitering, smoking, or unauthorized items)
Monitor entry and exit points; authorize access for approved personnel
Prevent theft by inspecting departing personnel and verifying proper authorization
Investigate incidents and document findings through detailed reports
Provide support and assistance to employees, visitors, and customers with professionalism
Qualifications
Education, Licenses & Certifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver's license
Must pass a comprehensive background check
Skills & Competencies:
Proficient with radios, telephones, or surveillance equipment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent observation and attention to detail
Ability to assess situations and act quickly and appropriately
Active listening and report writing skills
Additional Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age (or meet state minimum)
Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
Veterans must provide DD214 with discharge status, if applicable
