Automotive Technician

Kocourek Imports is in need of an Automotive Technician.

As a technician, you will be responsible for quick but thorough basic preventative maintenance.

Major activities include:

• Oil change services
• Additive services
• Fluid exchange services
• Engine/cabin air filter service
• Completing Vehicle Inspection process.
• Alignments
• Tires
• Brakes
• Maintaining a clean and safe work place environment
  
  
  

As a Kocourek Technician, you will diagnose and repair automotive systems.

Major activities include:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees on an as-required basis.
• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintain an organized and neat bay
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Previous automotive service technician-2 years preferred
• Certifications a plus but not required
• A high level of motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Proven knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
• Professional appearance
• Valid driver's license
• Submit to and successfully complete MVR and pre-employment drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,122.00 - $94,229.00 per year
