Duties
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes using ERP systems to ensure timely sourcing of materials and components
- Coordinate with production planning teams to align procurement activities with manufacturing schedules and inventory requirements
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct inventory control audits, and implement replenishment strategies using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to prevent stockouts or excess stock
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize transportation and distribution plans, ensuring efficient delivery of goods across supply chain channels
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier performance metrics
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to foster collaboration
- Resolve issues related to delivery, pricing, quality, or quantity discrepancies
- Complete special projects and assignments as requested
Experience
- Proven experience in procurement management and sourcing strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and contract terms.
- Knowledge of quality management principles related to product sourcing.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning software.
- Understanding of supply chain management processes, including logistics coordination.
- Ability to analyze data effectively to inform purchasing decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration across departments.
