This senior accounting manager role combines deep technical accounting expertise with strong business partnership to drive financial integrity, operational performance, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will build effective relationships across accounting, operations, engineering, project management, commercial teams, and business leadership while helping the organization improve economic decision making. As a senior manager, you will strengthen controls, improve project and manufacturing analysis and performance, advance work processes, and build organizational capability through Principle Based Management®.

The role works closely with accounting, leveraged capabilities, operations, engineering, project management, commercial teams, auditors, and business leaders to strengthen controls, improve project and manufacturing analysis and performance, drive process improvements and work processes to meet strategic business objectives and build organizational capability through Principle Based Management®.

What You Will Do
- Financial stewardship and controllership: Ensure the integrity of financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and accounting governance across supported businesses.
- Maintain compliance with US and local GAAP, company policies, and internal control requirements.
- Lead accounting reviews for complex transactions, project accounting, inventory valuation, reserves, cost accounting, and revenue recognition matters.
- Partner with auditors, accounting subject matter experts, and business leaders to support compliance and risk management, applying sound judgment and a risk-based approach.
- Business partnership and operational finance: Partner with operations, engineering, project, and commercial teams to improve business performance and profitability.
- Provide financial insight on manufacturing performance, project execution, cost drivers, working capital, operational productivity, inventory management, standard costing, and variances.
- Influence business decisions through economic thinking, financial analysis, cost transparency, and strategic decision support.
- Process improvement and transformation: Lead initiatives that simplify, standardize, automate, and scale finance and accounting processes.
- Leverage technology, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions to improve reporting, controls, forecasting, and decision-making while promoting innovative ways of working.
- Leadership and capability development: Build high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and capability development.
- Foster accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and Principle Based Management®, while leading cross-functional initiatives and adoption of best practices.
- Experience in controllership, accounting, manufacturing finance, cost accounting, project accounting, or finance leadership.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance.
- Experience building relationships and influencing outcomes across multiple functions and organizational levels.
- Experience partnering with business leaders to improve financial and operational performance.
- Experience presenting financial analyses, forecasts, or business recommendations to leadership teams.
- Experience leading teams, developing talent, and driving organizational change.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineered equipment, industrial, EPC, or project-based businesses.
- Experience supporting global or multi-site operations.
- Experience in LN, OneStream, or comparable platforms.
- Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
- Experience implementing automation, AI-enabled solutions, and digital finance capabilities.
