What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hatchery (Poultry) Worker position at Koch Foods, Inc.?
Hatchery Workers work alongside team members to handle daily operations inside an egg-to-chick facility, performing tasks like egg traying, chick processing, and sanitation. Typical work hours are from approximately 5 am to 1 pm with Sanitation running from 5:30 am to 1 pm. Starting pay rate at the Hatchery is $15.50/hour with a $3.00/hour attendance bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comfortable working with live birds.
- Maintain proper bird handling.
- Adhere to Company, Safety, and Animal Welfare policies and procedures.
- All other relevant duties as assigned.
- No previous experience required; will train.
- Previous hatchery experience preferred.
- Able to lift 10 lbs, and push 75 lbs.
- Work well in a small team environment.
