Description
A Culinary Cook/Expeditor/Cashier Team Member is a friendly seasonal hourly employee that safely prepares, assembles and deliveries food to our Guests with exceptional Guest Service. Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure requires for each team member to have a Jefferson County food certification.
Requirements
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Stock and set up kitchen.
- Perform cooking duties and prepare food for delivery to guest by expediter or cashier.
- Ensure high quality and freshness.
- Exercise portion control and minimize food waste.
- Be friendly, smile, and greet Guests.
- Maintain a neat, well-groomed professional appearance.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow all health department requirements.
- Adhere to all credit card handling procedures.
- Comply with all policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Jefferson County Food Handlers Card.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be able to speak and read English fluently.
- Must be proficient with basic mathematics.
- Must be able to work well with others and work in a team environment.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position stock weighing up to thirty pounds.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and lift.
- Ability to climb a ladder and footstool.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in hot, cold, humid, dry, sunny, rainy, and windy weather.
