Shift: Monday-Friday
About the Role
Join the Operations team at American Products! The Receiving Clerk helps keep materials moving smoothly through the facility by supporting receiving, inventory control, and warehouse organization.
What You’ll Do
- Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders
- Enter receipts accurately in the ERP system
- Inspect shipments for damage and initiate freight claims when needed
- Sort, label, and organize inventory
- Deliver materials to the correct departments or stocking areas
- Support warehouse organization and 5S efforts
- Maintain receiving records and prepare routine reports
- Operate pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts
- Perform additional duties as needed
What You Bring
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
- 1–3 years of warehouse/inventory experience in manufacturing preferred
- ERP experience (Syteline ideal)
Skills:
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Attention to detail & strong safety awareness
- Able to work professionally with internal teams
- Self‑starter with a continuous improvement mindset
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 80 lbs occasionally
- Use hands/arms for handling materials
- Vision abilities: close, distance, color, and depth perception
