Summary/Objective
Koch is seeking an experienced Finish Room Lead Person to be part of their woodworking team. They are a fast-growing Semi-Custom Cabinet Manufacturer. The Finish Room Lead Person will provide leadership and technical expertise in the finish room, follow the rules, be respectful and help set expectations for other employees.

Responsibilities

· Help management set expectations for all finish room employees.
· Be able to troubleshoot problems, locate parts and maintain quality of product.
· Ensure daily production list is completed/on schedule and things are ready for the next day’s work.

· Communicate expectations, assignments and responsibilities clearly and professionally.
· Be a bridge for communication between employees and supervisors.
· Help direct and provide technical training to employees.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes and airborne particles (dust), moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud; hearing protection is provided. Employee must wear required PPE. The employee works in a non-air-conditioned facility and is exposed to hot weather.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is required to stand 8 hours per day, walk, bend, twist and reach. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must push carts of cabinet parts weighing up to 125 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must work without the influence of illicit drugs, alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time supervisory position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., 40 hours per week, with a 30-minute lunch break. Extra hours or longer days may be required.
