What You’ll Do
- Clean, inspect, and perform basic maintenance on tools and dies.
- Troubleshoot and repair tooling die issues as they arise.
- Adjust and prep die to ensure proper alignment, fit, and performance.
- Keep your work area organized, safe, and ready for the next task.
Day-to-Day Expectations
- Operate equipment safely and responsibly.
- Complete simple documentation with accuracy.
- Use problem-solving skills to identify, diagnose, and correct issues.
- Lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and work instructions.
Special Safety Responsibilities
- Wear proper PPE when handling hazardous materials.
- Participate in required yearly training on chemical and waste handling.
- Understand emergency procedures and the basics of spill control.
