Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure equipment is operating within specified parameters.
- Manage Machining associates.
- Ensure all team members have proper PPE in good condition.
- Communicate schedule requirements and production targets.
- Prioritize jobs/tasks based on requirements from Supervisor.
- Observe Machining changeover tasks for accuracy and correctness.
- Promote safe work procedures in accordance with KAAP safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure quality checks are being performed on time and correctly.
- Enter data in QAD.
- Inventory control.
- Promote and implement assigned 5S activities throughout the Machining department.
- Monitor cycle times.
- Communicate any issues to Supervisor.
- Performs other duties as required.

Education & Experience:
- High school degree or GED equivalence.
- 3 plus years leadership experience in automotive environment
- Previous experience with CNC machinery or similar environment
- Crane and forklift experience preferred.
- Requires constant physical activity throughout shift such as walking, sitting, standing, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, handling, near/far vision, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible work schedule as needed with adequate notification.
- Always maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment.
- Willing to work in hot/humid, cold, noisy industrial environment
