Koalaty Time is in our 33rd year of operation in the Des Moines Metro. We are a warm family atmosphere, yet professional. Our goal is to teach, love and nurture children in a structured and educational environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative care giver/teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and have great multitasking and communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a difference in the lives of young children. Hours needed will be 9 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Weekly curriculum is written and provided for each classroom.
- Monitor children's behavior and provide positive guidance.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about their child's progress.
- Trainable and willing to except Koalaty Time policies and adapt to our structured environment.
- Punctual and professional.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Work Location: In person
