The Restaurant Manager is the driving force behind an exceptional food and beverage experience. This role creates seamless, memorable moments for hotel guests and local patrons alike by leading front-of-house operations with energy, creativity, and strong cross-department collaboration. By partnering closely with the Front Office, Sales Department, Kitchen Leadership, and culinary team, the Hotel Restaurant Manager ensure that every guest interaction - from casual dining to catered events - reflects high standards of hospitality, service, and operational excellence. This role plays a key part in maximizing revenue, strengthening guest loyalty, and elevating the overall hotel experience.

What you bring to the table

  • Lead and oversee high-energy Food & Beverage operations across all restaurant and bar service areas, including indoor dining, bar spaces, outdoor areas, pool service, and deck seating.
  • Create and maintain a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat patronage and strong guest loyalty.
  • Develop programming and initiatives that energize guest engagement in all F&B areas.
  • Partner with Sales to coordinate catering and banquet events, ensuring sooth execution from planning through service.
  • Review and implement Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure effective communication across departments for a seamless guest experience.
  • Recruit, schedule, train, and develop front-of-house team members to uphold service standards and brand expectations.
  • Provide hands-on leadership during service, setting the tone for professionalism, hospitality, and efficiency.
  • Monitor guest feedback and resolve concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Evaluate menu performance and collaborate with culinary leadership on adjustments, additions, and service enhancements.
  • Oversee beverage ordering, inventory management, and cost controls while maintaining appropriate par levels.
  • Work collaboratively with Kitchen leadership to ensure adequate supplies and smooth daily operations.
  • Support marketing and social initiatives in partnership with Sales to increase visibility and guest engagement.
  • Build and maintain a strong guest database for continued outreach and relationship-building.
  • Ensure compliance with all responsible alcohol service standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Jump in whenever needed to support the team and maintain smooth, profitable operations. (other duties as assigned)

  • Confident, service-driven leader who creates an engaging and welcoming atmosphere for Guests and team members.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of high-volume restaurant management experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience training, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and operational oversight abilities.
  • Required health permit/food safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (must obtain prior to first day of employment, as required by law).
  • Occasional travel for training or business needs may be required.
  • Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free workplace policies.
