What you bring to the table
- Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
- Prepare and assist with food items for the Employee Dining Room (EDR), ensuring team members always have fresh and satisfying options available.
- Stock and organize storage areas in the main kitchen to keep operations running smoothly.
- Follow prep lists and assist with culinary tasks under the guidance of the Sous Chef or kitchen leadership.
- Handle prep duties such as slicing, dicing, chopping, and breading meats, fish, and vegetables, while ensuring all items are properly labeled, dated, and stored in designated coolers.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the shift, ensuring a safe and welcoming dining space.
- Step in to support other areas of the kitchen when needed, contributing to the overall success of the culinary team.
- Partner with the day shift attendant to ensure prep is completed and provide support with salads and other fresh items for the EDR.
- Monitor product rotation, labeling, and temperature logs to guarantee quality and consistency.
- Keep food stations and common areas of the EDR spotless, sanitized, and ready for team member enjoyment.
- Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)

- Friendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.
- HS Diploma or GED.
- One (1) year experience working in food service.
- Must obtain a current Food Handler's Card.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.
- Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free workplace policies.
