Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and energetic people to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment that have proven leadership qualities. Our shift lead position at Knucklehead BBQ is responsible for supporting the overall operations of the restaurant by overseeing daily activities, ensuring smooth service, maintaining quality standards, managing staff schedules, and upholding food safety regulations, all while working closely with the Operating Partner to achieve sales and profitability goals.
We are looking for outgoing and FUN leaders to ensure that our guests are met with radical hospitality, unwavering quality in the food they are served that will all contribute to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, availability to open and close the restaurant as well as leadership skills responsible for the implementation of the plan on a day-to-day basis, as well as the success of the plan as measured by our growth in sales and profit.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute shifts with a focus on efficiency, cleanliness, and guest experience
- Support opening and closing procedures and ensure operational consistency
- Train, coach, and hold team members accountable to performance standards
- Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation
- Assist with labor management, prep flow, and overall shift execution
- Ensure all guests receive prompt, attentive, and professional service
- Step into both front- and back-of-house roles as needed
Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and use of kitchen tools, including knives.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this role.
