What You’ll Do
As a Police Cadet, you’ll be part of the action while supporting real operations:
- Bicycle and walking patrols in downtown Knoxville
- Assist with traffic control at major events
- Support sobriety checkpoints and safety demonstrations
- Help with recruitment efforts and community engagement
- Take calls and reports in the Teleserve Unit
- Assist sworn officers with a variety of assignments
- Perform parking enforcement duties

Requirements
- Must be 18–20 years old
- Pass a drug test, background check, polygraph, and psychological exam
