This is a Full-time Weekend Package position at Knoxville Hospital & Clinics. As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will provide critical care to patients in need of immediate medical attention.
Job Description:
- Assess and triage patients to determine the level of severity/priority.
- Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and adjust the nursing care process as needed.
- Monitor hemodynamic status, correctly interpret results, and intervene using ACLS/PALS algorithms and physician orders.
Maintain accurate and continued nursing documentation, including patient history, condition, vital signs, treatment, response to intervention, and any change in status.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
- Mandatory Reporter Training.
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Nursing experience preferred.
