$16.00/hr to start, $18.00/hr after training period
Knoxville Ghost Kitchen is hiring an Expo to run the pass. You're the last set of eyes on every ticket before it goes out — checking accuracy, plating, temperature, and timing, and keeping the kitchen and front of house talking to each other.
What you'll do
- Read and call tickets, sequencing orders so items hit the pass together
- Check every plate for accuracy, presentation, and temperature before it leaves
- Handle modifications, allergy tickets, and special requests correctly
- Keep the pass clean, stocked, and organized through the rush
- Communicate wait times and issues between kitchen and front of house
- Support the line with light prep and closing duties as needed
What we're looking for
- Calm and clear under volume — campus rushes move fast
- Sharp attention to detail and a good memory for tickets
- Able to stand for full shifts and lift up to 40 lbs
- Restaurant or food hall experience helpful, not required — we'll train
- Reliable, on time, and easy to work with
- Open availability preferred, including some evenings and weekends
