The Knoxville Area Project Access (KAPA) is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our team. KAPA coordinates donated medical care for low-income individuals without access to insurance. This role is essential to our program and requires strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Process patient referrals in KAPA’s case management system
• Manage and reconcile provider bills and claims
• Coordinate with provider offices regarding claims and patient appointments
• Enter and maintain accurate claims and patient information
• Assist with special projects and KAPA events
Qualifications
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Healthcare, medical billing, or insurance experience preferred
• Medical coding experience is a plus
• Commitment to helping others and working collaboratively
Full-time | Monday–Friday | Daytime Hours
