We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Title Closer to join our growing team.
Position Summary:
The Title Closer is responsible for managing all aspects of the closing process for residential and/or commercial real estate transactions. This includes reviewing closing statements, coordinating with clients and lenders, and ensuring all documents are properly executed and recorded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate closing logistics with buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents.
- Manage escrow accounts, including disbursing funds post-closing.
- Ensure all required documents are signed, notarized, and properly recorded.
- Address and resolve any title or closing issues prior to settlement.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
- Provide outstanding customer service throughout the closing process.
Qualifications:
- Job Type: Contract position
- Notary Public commission
- Previous experience in title, escrow, or real estate closing coordination preferred.
- Experience reviewing closing disclosures, settlement statements and lender closing documents preferred.
- Proficiency in Softpro Select title/escrow software and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
