Position Overview: As a Teacher Aide Floater, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dedicated teaching staff in providing a stimulating and engaging learning environment for children enrolled in our program. This is an entry-level position, perfect for someone who has a genuine love for children and is eager to kickstart a rewarding career in Early Childhood Education. This is a full time position.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and engaging educational activities
- Support individual and group activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Provide one-on-one attention to children with special needs, as required
- Participate in classroom setup, cleanup, and maintenance
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to maintain a well-organized and welcoming learning environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience or training in Early Childhood Education is a plus
- Passion for working with children and a strong desire to make a positive impact on their lives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting
- Previous experience working with children, whether in a formal or informal setting, is beneficial but not required
