What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Clerk/Recorder position at Knox County - County Clerk/Recorder?
This position will be splitting time working with both the County Recorder's Office and County Clerk's Office. In the Recording office they will be working on recording of documents for the County. In the County Clerk's office they will be assisting customers at the counter, answering phones, and working on special projects. Special projects will include scanning and indexing of documents, organizing files, and other duties as assigned. The position will also assist with all areas of work in the offices. Good customer service skills are essential. Computer and accounting skills are a plus. Candidates need to be productive, fast learners, and be able to multi-task. This position will be part of the collective bargaining unit at the Courthouse.
