JOB SUMMARY
- Delivers direct/indirect patient care to patients of all ages from neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult to geriatric under the supervision of a registered nurse and or licensed practical nurse.
- Demonstrates critical thinking to assure the delivery of safe, quality age specific care.
- Documents accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicates and collaborates with other healthcare team members.
- Adheres to organizational policies and procedures; regulatory/ accrediting body requirements; and professional practice standards.
Requirements Include
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- High School or Trade School students may be considered if their course of study could lead to full-time employment and they can legally work the hours necessary for the position.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or MA (Medical Assistant Certificate) preferred.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.
- Medical Palliative Care Unit: Palliative Care Training within 1 year of hire.
