2nd Shift Sr. Equipment Technician
Key Responsibilities
Tool Installation & Qualification: Owns full lifecycle of advanced tools; defines long-term strategy. Lead installation, startup, and qualification of equipment.
Equipment Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure stable operation.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Develops predictive models; applies machine learning and analytics. Develop and execute maintenance schedules and predictive models to extend tool life and improve uptime.
Equipment Performance Monitoring: Track tool metrics such as uptime, MTBF, and throughput.
Spare Parts & Vendor Management: Leads vendor selection, contract negotiation, and roadmap alignment. Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for tool upgrades, repairs, and support.
Process-Equipment Interaction: Leads integration of process and equipment; drives optimization. Collaborate with process engineers to ensure equipment supports process requirements and stability.
Continuous Improvement: Leads cross-functional equipment-related improvement projects focused on cost reduction, reliability, and performance enhancement.
Good understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other systems
Must be able to operate a forklift
Must have recent PLC, programmable logic control experience.
Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics, circuits.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications & Skills:
2 year technical degree or 3 years of experience maintaining electrical and mechanical systems
Experience with using software on manufacturing equipment preferred.
Frequent climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead.
Proficient computer skills
Physical Requirements:
Be able to lift 30-40 lbs.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting pay for this role is targeted to be between $35 and $40 per hour, 2nd shift is also eligible to receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential.
