Knowledge Tree Children's Academy is an amazing Preschool/After-School care located in beautiful Rocklin. We offer children an opportunity to learn and grow in a stimulating environment with a story book curriculum. Children are invited into our spacious classrooms, and are able to learn basic cooking skills in our children's Multi Cultural Kitchen.

Open position:

School-Age Teacher/Preschool Teacher

Full-time shift: 9 to 6 Monday through Friday

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work with co-teachers to lead and plan curriculum activities that stimulate children interest and ability following Knowledge Tree requirements.
• Maintain a well-organized and clean classroom by continually restoring and enhancing the environment suitable for children.
• Participate in staff meeting and professional development training.
• Provide daily intake of children and close communication with parents.
• Maintain records on each child’s progress and development for planning and evaluation.
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing center standards.
• Be flexible to work in other classroom and other schedule if needed

Qualifications and Skills

• MUST have at least 12 Core ECE Units or Completed 6 ECE units and in process of the other 6 ECE units.
• We prefer 1 or more years of experience working in a child care center
• Be able to lift at least 45 lb weight
• Team Player
• Be able to Provide Health report and TB clearance.
• Have current certification in pediatric first aid, CPR or willing to obtain
• Positive and motivated attitude is very important
• Open-minded for new challenges and learning
• Flexible

• Clean and organized
• References from previous employers
• Willing to have a work interview
