The Work
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The Work
- You’ll provide support to senior staff during all phases of a project or program, including pre-design, procurement, construction, and post-construction.
- You’ll be responsible for cost management, schedule management, quality control, and document control.
- You’ll assist with the development and monitoring of budgets and project schedules.
- You’ll assist in the procurement process and document controls process.
- You’ll participate in the review and evaluation of design documents and value engineering efforts.
- You’ll assist project management in observing and monitoring design and contractor teams to ensure the project is completed in alignment with established goals.
- You’ll assist in reviewing change orders.
- You’ll complete project progress reports as required.
- You’ll attend project site meetings and may prepare meeting minutes.
- You’ll assist in project close-out activities.
- You’ll perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. HERE'S WHAT YOU'll NEED
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (civil) or construction management or equivalent degree
- 1 - 2 years of experience involving permitting processing from the initial start of the application submittal, full-scope plan review of Engineering, Water Utilities, and Traffic Control Review, permit issuance, record keeping, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and computer skills
- Proficient in reading and understanding contract documents, plans and specifications
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project or Primavera
- Ability to work independently to achieve client goals
