Founded in 2009 by the Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino, Knowledge and Education for Your Success (KEYS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, private-public partnership, dedicated to enhancing access to supportive services for low-income residents in San Bernardino County. KEYS provides an array of services including case management to assist families and individuals in accessing existing resources and services within the County.
In summary, the HR GENERALIST will provide full HR support to KEYS including recruitment, benefits, leaves of absence, maintaining records, etc. Position will support approximately 25 staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Recruitment and selection activities including placing ads, reviewing applications, testing applicants, conducting interviews, etc.
- Coordinate benefits process with 3rd party vendor including monthly bill reconciliation.
- Manage and monitor all activities related to a leave of absence including proper notifications and communication with employees.
- Upkeep of employee files and information
- Management of employee pull notice program and interaction with insurance carrier.
- Day to day interaction with staff and guidance to managers on performance management.
Experience/Training/Requirements
Associates degree with major coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or closely related field. At least three (3) years related Human Resources experience. Equivalent combinations of education, training and experience will be considered. Bachelor's degree highly preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
