Job Description

Project/Program:

Hospital Analysis.

Analyzing the systems and finances of multiple hospitals.

Day-to-day Tasks

Daily Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Updates the internal dashboard weekly.
• Reviews data for MediSys health system (Jamaica and Flushing hospitals), Richmond University Medical Center, St. John's Riverside Hospital, St. John's Episcopal Hospital –a. Analyzes Weekly Cash Flows and Monthly Performance Reports. b. Assesses need requests to determine to appropriate amount of funding, if needed, by each of the assigned hospitals. c. Prepares questions for monthly provider calls in order to fully understand each aspect of their current financial situation. d. Prepares notes from provider monthly calls.
• Ad-hoc assignments.
  
  

Mandatory Qualifications

Business Analyst–

Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution.

Junior

12 - 36 months.

Requested Qualifications

• 18 Months of Experience in Finance conducting fiscal analysis.
• 18 Months of Experience in working with hospitals, reviewing their financial documents.
• 18 Months of Experience in data analysis, working with large sets of data on a routine basis.
• 18 Months of Experience in communications, conducting calls/drafting emails to various outside parties.
• 6 Months of Experience in documentation, during Webex calls with providers.
• CPA Certification.
• ACCA - Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Certification.
• Master's Degree in Data Analysis or Business Analytics.
