Job Description Project/Programs
OMH Medical Informatics, Technical Services. IT Specialist that will be assigned to Technical Services unit of Medical Informatics. This position will be involved in many projects and initiatives all relating to information technology, data management, and reporting.
Day-to-Day
The position will be focused on business intelligence (Organize/analyze internal/external business data to develop business unit level reports. Reports would be used to increase data sharing across business units and/or identify potential operational issues. The position will require utilization of approved tools such as Tableau, Python, and SQL.
Required Qualifications
IT Specialist - Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer.
Mid-Level - 36 - 60 months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance.

- 36 months experience developing detailed management reports in Tableau
- 36 months experience developing dynamic reports using a business intelligence reporting solution
- 36 months experience producing production management reports from flatfile AND relational data sources
- 36 months experience managing data and/or reporting using Python
- 12 months experience preparing data for reporting
- 12 months experience processing data and/or reports using PowerShell
- 12 months experience creating low code solutions with Power Automate or JSON parsing
- 12 months experience preparing and developing executive reports from flatfile AND NoSQL data sources
- Bachelors or higher degree in fields related to data science
