Responsibilities and Duties

As an Instructional Designer, you will create engaging microlearning content, including video scripts, animations, and short courses using proprietary tools and established standards.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and develop clear, concise instructional content that drives real-world software adoption
  • Translate complex Microsoft technologies into easy-to-understand learning experiences
  • Create video scripts and learning assets that improve productivity for end users
  • Apply your passion for teaching, writing, and user enablement to deliver high-impact learning outcomes
Qualifications
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and other enterprise software platforms
  • Experience creating instructional, training, or e-learning content
  • Passion for helping end users adopt and effectively use new technologies
  • Ability to balance instructional design best practices with business and user outcomes
Ideal Candidate Profile

This role is ideal for former educators, trainers, or content creators who enjoy simplifying complex technology and want to help organizations drive real adoption of Microsoft tools.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • 2 years of experience in content authoring and/or technical writing
  • 4 years of experience using Windows-based PCs and Microsoft Office in a professional environment
  • Demonstrated writing proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations
  • 3 years of experience in content authoring or technical writing
  • Experience in the communications industry supporting business customers
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and gather required information
  • Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and troubleshoot new technologies
  • Ability to deliver accurate, well-written documentation within deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
