Key Responsibilities
The Senior Engineer will be responsible for leading and executing modernization projects with a focus on our control systems. Key duties include:
- Project Management: Plan, design, and estimate the scope, time, and cost for assigned engineering projects, overseeing all phases from conception through construction and maintenance
- Technical Problem Solving: Analyze and develop effective engineering solutions for issues related to manufacturing equipment and systems, including detailed investigations into the causes of component failures
- System Enhancement: Design and enhance manufacturing processes, instruments, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality through rigorous testing
- Autonomy & Oversight: Independently manage and resolve complex engineering issues with minimal supervision, reserving only the most critical or policy-impacting matters for escalation
- Standard Compliance: Develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, providing guidance on best practices within the engineering field

- Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering field (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) or equivalent practical experience
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional work experience in an industrial environment
- Specific expertise with Emerson DeltaV control systems, including programming, configuration, and modernization experience
- Direct experience with industrial project management within a manufacturing or processing environment
- Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
