Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities of front office staff, tech assistants, and various imaging modalities.
- Team Leadership and Development: Act as a role model, delegating responsibilities, training new employees, and conducting thorough performance evaluations.
- Staffing and Workflow: Maintain optimal staffing levels and streamline workflow to improve performance and meet departmental goals.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all imaging services adhere to professional standards and regulatory requirements set by The Joint Commission, CMS, and the California Department of Public Health.
- Administrative Duties: Participate in interviews, disciplinary actions, and make key decisions in the absence of the Imaging Services Manager.
- Patient and Staff Relations: Foster a professional, supportive environment for physicians, staff, and patients, upholding the hospital's mission and philosophy.
Qualifications
- Education: An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in the field. Management experience is not required.
- Certifications & Licenses:
- Current Radiologic Technologist license from the State of California (CRT).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, RT and M) certification.
