The Role

We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Applications Developer to help design and build the next generation of Knovo's enterprise and operations platform.

This is a hands-on development role for someone who enjoys understanding how a business actually works and turning those requirements into practical technology. You will work directly with our leadership and operations teams to help shape the technical approach and then build it, developing connected applications, workflows, integrations, automation and AI capabilities that improve how we manage projects and deliver work to our clients.

Our current direction uses Quickbase as the operational backbone and system of record, with Microsoft technologies supporting areas such as AI, automation, identity, security, collaboration and reporting. This role will help bring these pieces together into a simple, secure and scalable platform.

This isn't about introducing technology for the sake of technology. We're looking for someone who can understand the problem, recommend the right technical approach and then build it.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Design, develop and continuously improve Knovo's enterprise and operations applications.
• Develop and enhance our Quickbase environment, including project databases, workflows, relationships, interfaces, reporting and business logic.
• Build integrations between Quickbase, Microsoft and other core platforms using APIs, connectors, middleware and automation tools.
• Develop project workflows that connect projects, locations, tasks, milestones, deliverables, issues, assets, resources and other operational data.
• Build automation using tools such as Power Automate to reduce manual work and move information between systems.
• Help develop our Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI capabilities, including agents that can securely access project information, answer questions and perform approved actions.
• Develop user-friendly applications and interfaces for internal teams, with the ability to extend these capabilities to clients and partners over time.
• Integrate SharePoint/Microsoft 365 for documents and collaboration and Power BI for operational, client and executive reporting.
• Build security and permissions into applications from the beginning, including role-based access, authentication, data segregation and auditability.
• Work directly with business users to understand how projects actually operate, identify pain points and translate those needs into working solutions.
• Test, troubleshoot and maintain applications and integrations to ensure they are reliable, accurate and scalable.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools and help determine where they provide real value within our platform.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

• Degree, diploma or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience developing business applications, enterprise applications or workflow-based solutions, with demonstrated experience taking applications from concept through development and deployment.
• Strong experience with APIs, REST integrations, JSON and connecting cloud-based applications.
• Experience with Quickbase development and administration is highly preferred; strong experience with comparable low-code/database platforms will also be considered.
• Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and ideally Power Apps and/or Copilot Studio.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience with relational data structures and designing applications around connected business data.
• Development experience with SQL and at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or C#.
• Experience with AI/LLM integrations, AI agents or enterprise AI applications is a strong asset.
• Understanding of application security, authentication, permissions, APIs and enterprise data protection.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand a business process and translate it into a practical technical solution.
• Comfortable working directly with business users and explaining technical concepts in straightforward language.
• Able to work independently, take ownership of solutions and move from concept through development, testing and deployment.
• Curious and adaptable, with an interest in continually improving how technology can support the business.

• This position is in the Hollywood, Florida office, with an opportunity for a hybrid work model (office and work from home)
